ScanDeath Cloud is in test phase and adds external security monitoring to the free ScanDeath plugin
The ScanDeath WordPress plugin remains free and fully functional with bundled local firewall rules. ScanDeath Cloud is the planned external service for remote monitoring, cloud-side rule distribution, external analysis, and reports. Purchases are paused during the current test phase.
Free local firewall. Paid external processing.
ScanDeath avoids trialware-style locking. The plugin hosted on WordPress.org includes local rules, request handling, blocked-IP visibility, runtime settings, and cleanup without requiring payment.
After launch, ScanDeath Cloud will be offered separately because it performs work outside WordPress: remote monitoring, cloud-side analysis, blacklist/reputation checks, scheduled reports, and managed rule distribution.
Bundled local protection
The plugin can block suspicious request behavior locally with bundled rules and does not need a license key, trial period, quota, or subscription to function.
External security processing
Planned paid plans cover remote checks and cloud-side processing that cannot be performed purely by the local plugin without using the external service.
Subscriptions and service keys
The account area will store orders, invoices, connected installations, and cloud service keys for authenticating optional external service requests after launch.
