Planned terms, pricing, and external service scope

What is sold

The paid product is a ScanDeath Cloud subscription. It covers external service work such as remote monitoring, cloud-side security analysis, managed rule distribution, scheduled reports, and customer support around the cloud account.

The free ScanDeath WordPress plugin is not sold as locked software. It remains fully functional with its bundled local features without a cloud subscription.

Service keys

A cloud service key identifies the customer subscription when the plugin connects to ScanDeath Cloud. The key authenticates external service requests only.

The key must not be used to unlock local plugin features, impose local quotas, or disable local functionality.

WordPress.org compliance: The plugin hosted on WordPress.org is free and fully functional. Paid plans are for external ScanDeath Cloud processing only.
Test phase: ScanDeath Cloud is not available for purchase yet. Checkout, bank-transfer orders, invoices, and new paid subscriptions are currently disabled.
